About Musical Beets

Musical Beets is owned and run by Audrey Krishnan. Audrey Krishnan
began her journey in music at a very young age. She would spend the
summers in Bandera, Texas singing folk songs with her grandmother.
Since her grandmother is blind music was the most important part of
their day.

At the age of 12 after being placed in middle school band by mistake she
decided that she wanted to play the clarinet. Mrs. Audrey auditioned for
the High School for Performing and Visual Arts and was accepted as a
Woodwind player. After her freshmen year she held first chair in their
Symphonic Band and decided she needed a greater challenge. At this
time she switched to Bass Clarinet and held first chair in their Wind
Ensemble. The Bass Clarinet became her passion. During her years to
following Mrs. Audrey wanted to become a Band Director so she began
learning to play many instruments. (Bb Clarinet, Bass Clarinet, Eb
Clarinet, Flute, Saxophone, Trumpet, Contra Bass and Piano)

After spending her life playing music and a good seven years total
teaching for other studios Mrs. Audrey decided it was time to open her
own studio. Musical Beets strives to offer the best Musical Education
for children and adults of all ages.

"It is important for parents and students to understand that Music is a
way of life for me and my family. I have two children and not a day
goes by that we are not running around doing something musical."
